“I recently had the pleasure of working with Elizabeth Hall to design my living room and dining room. I will admit I was hesitant to hire a professional designer. I had existing pieces I wanted to work in, my budget was limited, and I needed function over beauty. I knew this would be a challenge for any professional. Elizabeth arose to the occasion and exceeded our expectations. From the beginning, she made this large project seem less intimidating. We emailed back and forth and set up a date to have an initial phone call. I told her the scope of the project and how we were in the middle of a massive renovation. Elizabeth asked lots of questions and set up a game plan. She took the time to really understand us and what we wanted. I will admit our budget and style made this a challenging project. On top of that, we had dogs to consider as well as family members with special needs. In the design phase we communicated via emailed, text and had a few phone calls. She was never frustrated with all the emails or messages I sent. Elizabeth took the time to do all the leg room with local furniture companies. We were able to go in, asked for a certain salesperson and test out the sofa/chairs etc. It cut down the shopping process immensely. On our presentation day we did not really have high expectations. Until this point, she had been super helpful and agreeable…almost too agreeable. I can honestly say we were blown away. Elizabeth captured everything we wanted, even the one-off comments I had made that I didn’t remember. The rooms are not only a show piece, but they are also a functional representation of us! She presented a beautifully detailed 3D rendering with a few options. The mood boards really helped as well. Most importantly she provided me with a detailed list of what to buy, from where and stayed within our budget. I cannot wait until the rooms are finished and we can work together again. I plan on using her for 5 more rooms in the future. I have complete confidence the experience will be nothing less than amazing.“

“We hired Elizabeth to help with our home remodel. Within the first 30 minutes on her first visit, she chose the paint colors for the whole house and gave us our design for our kitchen. She was very quick to respond to us. She sent wonderful layouts of her ideas. She picked out every light fixture for our home and sent a list of the lights, along with a link to where they could be purchased. She also sent alternate selections in case one of hers wasn’t what we wanted. She designed our living room down to the last nick knack, again, with links to websites and prices. All of her ideas were spot on. Our home looks like something out of a magazine, and she did it within our budget. We own two businesses so we can be a tough customer. Elizabeth exceeded our expectations in every single way. Her fees are incredibly reasonable. She is delightful to work with, very available to answer questions. I cannot say enough good things about her. Hiring Elizabeth was the BEST decision we made in remodeling our home. I highly recommend her!“

“Elizabeth is wonderful to work with!
We hired Liz to help with the renovation our 1950s home. This included renovating existing bathrooms, kitchen/living area and to implement an extensive design plan for a new addition which includes bedrooms with bathrooms, powder room and laundry room. We worked with Liz via zoom, email, phone calls and in person. Liz communicated with us easily and professionally at all times. She is delightful to talk with, extremely responsive, understands what her clients are asking and all the while staying true how much things cost and the budget she was given. Her mood boards are awesome! They are filled with several ideas and information which gives you, the client, the ability to see a vision and easily make decisions. Everything in our home is now finished and looks amazing! The bathroom renovations blend perfectly into the existing home and we couldn’t be happier with the way they turned out. Absolutely perfect!
In our kitchen /living area we wanted an updated look but still keeping in time with the rest of the house. Liz helped us with everything from color choices, cabinet hardware, rug selection, lighting, furniture selection and furniture placement. The kitchen looks fantastic and while it is updated, it also looks original to the 1950’s style of the home.
For our new construction, Liz was truly invaluable! We added additional bedrooms, laundry room, and a powder room. She was able to design a comfortable and beautiful space while again keeping the vibe of the existing home in every detail.

“From soup to nuts, Elizabeth is a stellar designer! What is remarkable is that she’s done the whole project remotely. We had a few FaceTime sessions, and phone calls; however, everything else has been electronic. I cannot imagine designing a space that I have not actually been in, but Elizabeth excelled. For my first project, she helped me design a bedroom for my 7-year old son. I wanted it to be fun and playful for him, but with the flexibility to have it as a guest room for my visiting Mother-In-Law (and other guests). From selecting colors to the layout and furniture selection, Elizabeth was fantastic to work with. She quickly understood my preferences and accommodated our budget with the choices she selected. She took the guess work out of how to organize and decorate the room. When we had questions while we were making the updates, Elizabeth was very responsive. She collaborates excellently and provides great solutions – even when needed in the moment! She didn’t just deliver her design and abandon us — she was there for the entire process and I feel at ease knowing I can reach out to her with questions at any time. When our project was finished, my son said “I am so proud of my room!” The rest of our family likes to be in it because it is now the nicest room in the house. We liked it so much, we’ve scheduled 3 additional projects with Elizabeth.”

“Elizabeth has worked on a few projects for us and we will absolutely continue to work with her. She designed a new fireplace for our family room to make it a beautiful focal point. She chose materials that I would not have chosen on my own and it looks amazing! She also helped us choose a backsplash that ties into the fireplace. Her presentation made it very easy to buy the materials and have the project done. I can’t wait to have her back and see what other ideas she has!”
