We hit the jackpot with Elizabeth! Because we live in another state, we needed someone who was willing to stay involved with our new home build in OS. She was instrumental in communicating and coordinating meetings with us and our GC, assisting and keeping track of building selections, meeting in person on our schedule at job site (in summer, with no AC!), and even meeting the Tile contractor and face timing us to be sure bathroom tile design was correct. Elizabeth is professional and knowledgeable in all areas of Home Design. In addition, her customer service skills are excellent and you will quickly find how easy it is to work with her. We have completed all of the interior work and we are thrilled at the beauty that our home creates for ourselves and others to enjoy. Elizabeth led us through the process of design as we strived to marry beauty and functionality in our small but totally adequate 1600 square foot beach house whose focal point/view from every room and angle is the beach with its water, waves, sand, shorebirds, and the delight of endless activity of families, friends, and lone beachgoers. From the architectural structure, to the geometry of barn doors and architectural walls to the cascade of colors in paint, tile, and fabric choices, to the magic of our Sleeping Porch, a bunkbed design to house excited grandchildren as they rest from their day at the beach, play music on the piano, ukulele, tambourines ad maracas, Elizabeth was able to help us create our wonderful space in this this new place and new phase (retirement) of our lives. She was able to contribute at every layer of our project including the outdoor space underneath our house (we are elevated) as she worked with our engineers to design space that met with City coding requirements as well as achieving the aesthetics and entertaining space that we were looking for. “I recently had the pleasure of working with Elizabeth Hall to design my living room and dining room. I will admit I was hesitant to hire a professional designer. I had existing pieces I wanted to work in, my budget was limited, and I needed function over beauty. I knew this would be a challenge for any professional. Elizabeth arose to the occasion and exceeded our expectations. From the beginning, she made this large project seem less intimidating. We emailed back and forth and set up a date to have an initial phone call. I told her the scope of the project and how we were in the middle of a massive renovation. Elizabeth asked lots of questions and set up a game plan. She took the time to really understand us and what we wanted. I will admit our budget and style made this a challenging project. On top of that, we had dogs to consider as well as family members with special needs. In the design phase we communicated via emailed, text and had a few phone calls. She was never frustrated with all the emails or messages I sent. Elizabeth took the time to do all the leg room with local furniture companies. We were able to go in, asked for a certain salesperson and test out the sofa/chairs etc. It cut down the shopping process immensely. On our presentation day we did not really have high expectations. Until this point, she had been super helpful and agreeable…almost too agreeable. I can honestly say we were blown away. Elizabeth captured everything we wanted, even the one-off comments I had made that I didn’t remember. The rooms are not only a show piece, but they are also a functional representation of us! She presented a beautifully detailed 3D rendering with a few options. The mood boards really helped as well. Most importantly she provided me with a detailed list of what to buy, from where and stayed within our budget. I cannot wait until the rooms are finished and we can work together again. I plan on using her for 5 more rooms in the future. I have complete confidence the experience will be nothing less than amazing.“

“We hired Elizabeth to help with our home remodel. Within the first 30 minutes on her first visit, she chose the paint colors for the whole house and gave us our design for our kitchen. She was very quick to respond to us. She sent wonderful layouts of her ideas. She also sent alternate selections in case one of hers wasn’t what we wanted. She designed our living room down to the last nick knack, again, with links to websites and prices. In our kitchen /living area we wanted an updated look but still keeping in time with the rest of the house. Liz helped us with everything from color choices, cabinet hardware, rug selection, lighting, furniture selection and furniture placement. The kitchen looks fantastic and while it is updated, it also looks original to the 1950’s style of the home.
For our new construction, Liz was truly invaluable! We added additional bedrooms, laundry room, and a powder room. She was able to design a comfortable and beautiful space while again keeping the vibe of the existing home in every detail.

“We built our forever home a year and half ago with the plan to purchase new furniture for our great room once we had been in the home for a while. The time came to choose new furniture and I didn’t know how to achieve a warm, inviting space that reflected our casual style, but looked refined and was functional for our family.
