This kitchen originally had a large 10’ peninsula that split the space into a kitchen and breakfast nook. To maximize openness and create a truly great place to gather, I reimagined the layout—removing the peninsula, repurposing existing cabinetry, and introducing a stunning 9’ double island with plenty of seating and smart storage.

Beyond function, my client is fun-loving and wanted something a little unexpected. The coffee bar quickly became my favorite feature, with playful, gorgeous wallpaper and gold-railed shelves that add personality and charm. It’s a space designed to spark joy every single morning—especially with a cup of coffee in hand
